We open the door to a new world for widows, ensuring they do not go through their experience alone, but with life-long connections and lasting support. Each of our encounters and sharing allows us to learn and grow together. In line with our mission, we provide holistic support to all widows throughout their grieving process and beyond by providing life transition resources and immediate connections.
The death of a spouse can have a major impact on a person's mental health and can worsen their wellbeing. ALMANAH IMPACT FOUNDATION strives to make high quality health care accessible to vulnerable widows and their household. This is achieved through our collaborations with our partners.
ALMANAH IMPACT FOUNDATION exists to empower and bring hope to widows. We support widows and their households with economic strengthening activities works to improve their livelihood and increase their financial resilience.
ALMANAH IMPACT FOUNDATION provides educational support schemes that aims to empower widows and their households. Education is the first right of any woman and her children. Our priority is to ensure that every child is getting it. To us it means giving and getting information, education and exposition that will grow a better mindset of the girl child.
Widows suffer from social stigmatization and economic deprivation largely because they have lost their husbands.
Widows do not have equal inheritance rights, and they may be stripped of their land, evicted from their home, or even separated from their children. In most cases, they are denied access to inheritance, bank accounts, and credit, which can have significant financial impacts for them, their children, and future generations.
At ALMANAH IMPACT FOUNDATION, we provide legal support to all widows through our partners. Our goal is to end discrimination against widows so they can live in dignity and enjoy equal rights, opportunities, and full participation in society.
At ALMANAH IMPACT FOUNDATION, we understand the pain widows go through in their grieving process. This grieving process is extremely painful for widows considering the effects of our cultural practices and beliefs can be traumatic.
We facilitate the healing process through our capability building programs which allows for rebuilding to start from our communities embrace by uplifting and encouraging widows to reengage in life.
